This one has me stumped. I recently replaced my V3000 card with the GeForce2 MX card ( Hercules Prophet MX). GPL runs great with the d3d patch, N3 runs good, but I cannot get F12k to run with a darn. I am using the Detonater 3 drivers ( 6.31). At first, I was getting "out of scan range" when I tried to run both N3 and F12k. Heat and GPL ran fine. I tried uninstalling and re-installing F12k, with no luck. I changed my monitor .inf, and now it at least starts. N3 running good. However, F12K, while it will now launch, runs very sluggish and stuttery. For instance, when I go to quick race, it takes app 60 seconds to load the track. The light that goes across the bottom left to right will even stutter ( pauses). Once the track loads, and I click on drive, it is another 60-70 seconds of staring at a dark screen until I am on the track for the start of the race. Then, I get constant screen freezes, some lasting 1-2 seconds. So I hit escape, and hit "enter" to return to monitor, and I have to wait another 60 seconds for it to drop me back to the menu. Pretty much unplayable. My other racing sims are doing fine. I am running the version 1.09 patch for F12k. I did not have these problems with it previously on my V3000 card. Any ideas before I uninstall the sim? Anyone else with the MX card and detonator 3 drivers having this problem with F12K? I have tried it both in non and windowed mode, same results. -- Don Burnette Dburn in N3 and Legends ICQ# 74084566

I used to have a CL Annihilator2 (GTS) and never had a problem with F12K. In fact it ran a bit faster than it does on my current Voodoo5. Delete it and reinstall with no patches, see how it runs then. Patch after and try it again. You could try older vid drivers to see if it is a problem with the drivers. Can't remember the driver version I used. -- eX
If you had A3D sound card and turned it on with the config proggie then try to turn this option off. kb Don Burnette wrote in message ... >This one has me stumped. I recently replaced my V3000 card with theGeForce2
