I can't seem to load any other setups for GPL instead of -default-. I dowloaded Alison Hine's setups from the pits, placed them in the respective folders, went into training-grand, but there not their! They have the 1 in their prefix, so I can't think of anything else. I'm probally missing something obvious, can anyone tell me what? Nick
Make sure you put the setups in the correct Track folder within the Setups folder *inside your Player folder* - I'm guessing you probably put them in the Tracks folder. Rick "Nick, Goat of the Pyranees" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

G'Day Nick, If you D/L Alison's setup's,She, as most people have a prefix to differentiate between F1_ F2_ F3 so if the set up is lo1-spa setup it will mean Lotus car F1 Spa setup. A suggestion if you have not already done so is to make Three Profiles for yourself,ie:-Nick1-Nick2_Nick3 For the three Formula's Hope this helps,Skell

I tried N3 for the first time earlier this year, imagine my surprise when there weren't any setup folders for each track like in GPL ! ;) -- Ian P <email invalid due to spam> Martin Ursua <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:3a026150.6985156@news... > On Fri, 03 Nov 2000 06:00:44 GMT, "Nick, Goat of the Pyranees" > <[email hidden]> wrote: > > >Boy, is my face red! :) > > Don't worry Nick. Hey, don't feel bad - I only knew this (immediately) because I just received Maxx's training package for GPL last weekend, and I put the included setups in the wrong place :) Rick "Nick, Goat of the Pyranees" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Boy, is my face red! :) > > Nick
What's Maxx's training package? In reply to a cry for help from St. Eldred, Maxx wrote a number of small text files with tips on how to drive faster. He also included a number of setups and instructive replays. These tips have helped a lot of people improve their lap times. Some a little, some a lot. I'm in the latter category. They are not (yet) available for download on a web page, so you have to write Maxx for the package which is called GPLEGS. He likes to keep track of his "students". His email address is [email hidden] (remove GPL). Cheers, Jens Steve Rosko wrote: > What's Maxx's training package?
Jens, Thanks for picking this one up. Steve had contacted me. Maxx On Sat, 04 Nov 2000 23:56:07 +0100, "Jens H. Kruuse" <[email hidden]> wrote:
