Got a friend that just bought a new computer (Gateway, AMD 1.1G, 128M, GForce Ultra etc etc) his computer will not recognize his Thrustmaster Nascar Pro wheel, (not a Nascar Prodigital), we have been wanting to race online, but obviously cant. His computer came with Windows ME, anything special about getting this computer to recognize a joystick??? It is a non USB interface.....any ideas would be much appreciated Thanks .....Lee
Install 98SE, Win ME sucks with games/video cards etc. I have tried it 3 times on my PC, went back to 98SE, Nascar 3 & gp3 run better on 98SE on this unit. KS Lee <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:QBqM5.33961$[email hidden]...

My nascar pro wheel works great w/ Me. I have my wheel connected to my SB Live gameport. Check device manager to make sure the joystick port is installed, & make sure the joystick properties are set correctly to match the dual axis of the wheel. Saying Me is junk is a shit reason, same config as 95/98 when handling joysticks. -- Brian Grrrr baby, very grrrrr "KS Lee" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:QBqM5.33961$[email hidden]... > Got a friend that just bought a new computer (Gateway, AMD 1.1G, 128M, > GForce Ultra etc etc) his computer will not recognize his Thrustmaster > Nascar Pro wheel, (not a Nascar Prodigital), we have been wanting to race > online, but obviously cant. here is what I did: I disabled the game port, rebooted. Installed a MS game port, rebooted. Installed the wheel driver, rebooted. Uninstalled the MS gameport and re-enabled the SB gameport, rebooted. Works great :-) "KS Lee" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:QBqM5.33961$[email hidden]...

Hi Same case (ME+nascar pro) but its ok for me for GPL but not working for GP3. You must change your driver to MS (im not sure) but it works for me. KS Lee wrote:
