Whenever I try to play N3 via the internet I get a message telling me
the cdrom is not in the drive. I did the full install and the cd is in
the drive. I reinstalled and let the installer auto update and still
get the message. Any ideas?
Did you originally install N3 from another cd drive? By that I mean, if
you have two cd's or added a hard drive so that your system now sees the cd
drive as a different letter than before?

Dave,
Unfortunately not that easy. I installed N3 from my cd drive and have yet to
remove the cd from the drive. No drives added.

Run REGEDIT and search for "NASCAR3". Depending
on what N3 utilities you've installed in your system, it might come up with a few
hits. The ones I would be concerned with are the .exe's. Make sure the registry
is seeing the correct path, then once you've verified that, go into Windows
Explorer and see if the drive letters match.
It does sound like they are mismatching. If you've installed an IOMEGA drive
recently, that might account for it.

This was a completely fresh install of the entire machine. No N3 utilities. I
search the registry and all paths are correct. Any other suggestions?

will not need the cd again unless you make changes to your sign on name.
then you will have to put it in again.
