My god is that you or is it me :-)
New player buys GPL and GP3 together
A newcomer bought GPL for $5.25 and GP3 as well. A claim that Americans and older players preferred GPL while Europeans and Australians preferred GP3 was rejected by many counterexamples, and the 18-year-old newcomer said he preferred GPL's challenge.
Automated summary.

Bad guess :-)

I won't even comment that nonsense, or were you just kidding??
Damn, this stupid humour detector is broken again...!

Thanks to all who pointed me to GPL, I found it at Office Depot
for...get this...$5.25!!! So I figured with the extra cash, I'd pick up
GP3 also. I know what I'm doiing for the next 3 weeks!

Racing GPL and letting GP3 collecting dust... and you will do that for the
next years, not weeks ;-)

My guess is that if you're American and/or you're over 40 years old - you'll
like GPL. If you're European or Australian, you'll go for GP3.

Very nice. Johnny T on the drop-bar bike was quite amazing, wasn't he?

Hi
I have F1 GP, GP2, GP3, F1 2000, Rally chamionchip,
Toca touringcars(1,2),NFS (1,2,3,4,)Nascar(1,2) and some others.......
I also have GPL, and thats the only game....ops. sim I drive :)
I am 35 years and married :D
Stefan Zscharnack
And I am European :)

Eh?
Let's let Nick be the judge of the relative merit of the two games, shall
we? While it's fairly safe to say he'll prefer one over he other, I don't
think there's any generalisations to be made about the typical GPL or GP3
player based on locality or age. Given Nick's, to the best of my knowledge,
new to the forum one'd be hard pressed to make a prediction based on any
other factor as well. All IMO, of course.

Weird, I'm also British, also under 40 and also drive GPL more than GP3.
(Yes I own and play both, so I feel qualified to comment <G>)
Therefore I think Andrew's assumption was just plain wrong ;)

I'm a British Citizen, who has been living in South Africa for 10 years.
Please advise me, what sim I should be racing? Does the fact that I have an
Ausralian Grandfather make any difference?
Thanks
Chris (who is hoping that all this doesn't mean he should be playing SOS
1937!)

Dammit!
I'm English, under 40 and play GPL. If only some one had told me sooner.
Thanks to your wisdom Anderw, I'll stop playing GPL and buy GP3 tomorrow :)

You still can play GPL, but you need 2.3 children to do so.

And when I play tennis I use a racket (racquet?) with a 10-year-old
design which has been given just a new coat of paint. It's more fun,
apparently :-)

Hmm...there's a few exceptions here. I guess I should have remembered that
ALL generalisations are wrong.

Yep, fair enough - when I play tennis I use a racket with a broken handle
because that's more challenging.

No worries, Bruce ; )

People do say some very silly things, don't you? ;0)
GPL forever!
