Looks like he isn't going to blow his own horn so I'll do it for him: I
notice Dave Noonan is at -0.01 in GPLRank. Somebody's been working on the
Ring I think.
Congrats to a GPLegend!

He did it pretty fast too, I was less than a second behind him a couple
weeks back.

This is bad news folks... this means that he is playing GPL instead of
creating new tracks... Oh well, he deserves it :)

Thanks for noticing my humble achievement (how come I'm still dropping in ranking!!) .
This should be an incentive for all those who despair of getting to grips with GPL.
If someone with my lack of skill can 'go negative' so can just about anyone else :-)
By far the biggest jump was learning to concentrate which is why I love the Ring -
there's very little respite there and one small slip means another 8 or so minutes of
waiting..
Thanks

Way to go Dave! Hope your enjoying it as much as I did. It felt like a huge
accomplishment. Join me in the next quest. Uwe just leaped into the negative
double digits with a killer Ring time, we must follow him there.

Come see how you rank, at the GPLRank site

I wonder that he has time for this.
Congrats also from me.
