I am thinking of buying a new computer with raid HD's (no problem for gaming, is that right?) but it has Windows me installed. Whats the groups feeling on GPL, Porche Unleased, Nascar Heat single player and especially on-line gaming with Windows ME? Thanks. Dan. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
Can't comment on WinMe (running 2K), but I just built a machine with the Abit KT7-RAID motherboard, and it's SWEET. By the time the OS sees the hard disks, the two 30Gb IBM drives have magically become 1 60Gb drive. Rick

I have had no problems running those titles under Windows ME. I have no problems with on-line gaming either. I did however make sure that I switched off System Restore, automated chcking for updates and PC Health Check. There was a post with the details on how to do this a few weeks ago. You should be able to find it using Deja. I have no experience with RAID devices so can't comment on them. Cheers Phil -- F1 GPL Handicap: +17.98 secs F2 GPL Handicap: +130.82 secs Currently running in the F2 Festival League at http://www.geocities.com/f2_festival

I was just about to reply but Phil has taken the words right out of my mouth. > I have had no problems running those titles under Windows ME. I have no > problems with on-line gaming either.
