The original Trans Am engine game was not used. The publisher just pulled the plug. Jeff

Remember a year or so ago, there were two page ad's in the game magazines for a new big production driving game based in the 67-71 trans am years? Sure the Boss 302 available for SCGT is ok, but I wanted that game dammit! The only thing worse is that illfated "Ironclads" game that never saw the light of day. In a world of Everquest playing freako's, I walk a lonely street to my racecar. Judge

For some reasons Trans AM got dumped, and they used the engine of Trans AM for the utterly crap game Dukes of Hazzard :(( Andre >Judge

Unfortunately and inexplicably, Trans Am morphed into Pukes of Hazzard -- but considering THAT brain-dead pile of steaming code, we're all probably better off. BB

As H.L. Mencken observed nearly 80 years ago, nobody ever went broke underestimating American taste.
everyone is right, the Trans Am sim you are talking about is dead. However, if you can find a copy of Nascar Legends, your in luck. The Uspits will soon be releasing a Trans Am patch for NL that will focus on 69 & 70. the Cars are done, the tracks are being assembled...it's not a dedicated sim, but very much in the flavor of the pits touring car tc patch(the tptcc) There are a few screen shots hidden on the pits site, check out the birthday message if that is still up. dave henrie "
