Can someone help? I was racing the other night online. On 2 occasions,
my pc froze when I tried to press "ESC" to get back to the pits (no
smart a$$ remarks please ;). The screen went black, but I could still
hear the cars and my modem was still working like a crazy. The only way
to get out was pressing the "reset" button on my machine. I don't have
that problem offline.
Here's my machine PIII, Asus V7700 video card, Sound Blaster Live, 256
meg of RAM, cable modem; latest Asus drivers (5.33), and direct X 7.0
patch for GPL (as well as the 1.2 patch).
