I can't get my wheel to calibrate in GP3. For some reason, GP3 refuses to
recognize the wheel turned all the way to left--I get nothing but ?????.
My wheel is the Microsoft SideWinder Precision (non-FF). My system is Dell
Dimension XPS B1000, running Windows ME, with DirectX 7.0a.
FWIW< I've tried to install the GP3 patch, but when I do, I get an error
message that the program can't find the CD (even when it is in the drive).
Ideas?
The patch is the solution. I have the same wheel. Have you more than
one CD drive? Put it in the one you used to install and play the game.
I am saying that it looks like the driver letter is the problem. I
can't recall at the moment whether you can change the drive letter
before the installation of the patch, if you can then change it there.
Good luck
