Hello, No, the RS shifter will not work with other wheels unless you are willing to mess around a lot. Of course, your warranty will be void after such action. Keep in mind that ACT LABS' wheels suport a total of 12 buttons. Unless your wheel supports that many buttons, you are out of luck. Is it usable without the steering wheel? I want to rip apart my Destiny FF (dunno if anyone else has done that) and build it into a cockpit. I'll use the insides of an old joystick for the 3rd pedal (clutch) and the handbrake (I'm not sure if any games support analogue handbrakes). I don't really want to shell out for an ACT Labs wheel only to rip it apart (what a waste) if I can use the shifter without it. I suppose I could build something using joystick buttons for each gear, but it wouldn't be as good, and I doubt any games would support it ... talking of which, what games are supported by the shifter? TIA for answering all my questions. It probably tecnically possible because the shifter is just emulating joysticks buttons, you should try to get the info from the guys who have programmed the shifterRS, or go to www.slottweak.com and ask there, regarding the games it is now with the rs shifter running with GPL, NFS NASCAR and wihtout the rs patch for Rally championship 2000 "Andy Laurence" <[email hidden]> a crit dans le message news: J1cO5.1118$[email hidden]... > Is it usable without the steering wheel? Hello, At this point, we do not have any official plans to release a new 3 pedal set. If we do make such a product, it will be sold as an add-on accessory. All though I won't say, "never," I can say that it is unlikely that we will be making a hand brake any time in the near future. The ACT wheel is very nice, but I was wonder something. I've read about a couple mototrs that are more expensive but supposedly they dont cog and are very smooth eyt are still strong. would it be possible to offer a wheel using this kind of technology or even offer upgrade motors? If not what motor, brand and size would you reccomend? "Raymond, ACT LABS" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Thanks for the definitive answer. Looks like I'll have to fork out for one, then! Am I right in thinking there is a 3 pedal version coming out? I take it I'll be making my own handbrake, though.
