I agree with you completely, there acually IS a very good 99 carset for GP3Edit available, for FREE. If this is the only thing that this add-on has to offer, it is a complete rip-off. Did I mention that the original GP3 car liveries are total crap? (and the 99 add-on cars will probably look crap too?) <[email hidden]> schreef in berichtnieuws 8ucf4u$219q$[email hidden]...

Is there anyone here who would actually bother to buy this. Aside from plenty of bad feeling for having to pay for it, I expect that the quality of the liveries etc would not be as good as the stuff the GP3 community releases for free. Also, further down that page in the 'customers also bought' section, there is a Perfect GP3 Track Pack and Editor. Surely this is a rehash of Perfect GP's similar release for GP2 which, for those who didn't buy it, was an absolute piece of crap. I couldn't find any mention of the add-on at Hasbro's sites either. Not too surprising I guess. I'm curious to know whether it is just a graphics update or if there are any gameplay changes in it. -Nick Alessandro Pollini <[email hidden]> wrote:

8th October 2000 According to the latest Toptronics (=Finnish games importer) release date listings, the official GP3 1999 add-on release date is 15th February 2001. According to the latest info, along with new tracks, teams and car physics it'd also include safety cars stop'n'go penalties and overspeeding at the pits. Adding the Internet play support is also possible. The add-on will be available in stores only. <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8ucf4u$219q$[email hidden]...

Just to be fair, we have to reckon that this is largely due to the ban on tobacco sponsorship..... No issue for the "amateur" effort. JoH

No issue for the "amateur" effort. ok, fair enough, this is probably partially due to the tobacco ban, but IMHO the non-tobacco sets available on the net are still better than the original ones in the game/sim.
