Hello all. Yesterday I download the SP3 & SP3.1 updates. Installed per the readme's and it mostly works fine. Also did the scgtsounds.zip file. The one problem I have is that some of the new cars do not have sounds while driving (they do have idle sounds though). I don't know who the authors (I'm not close to this NG community) of these patches are, but being a programmer I can appreciate the great deal of time and effort you put into these patches. Great work and thanks for the effort. Please tell me what I may have missed. Maybe I should remove my SCGT install, re-install, apply the USpits 1.55 update, then do the SP3 & 3.1 updates, then the scgtsounds.zip update (whew)? Good idea, or waste of time? Thanks in advance for any advice, Joe System is Compaq AMD/2 380 mhz Voodoo3 2000 128 meg ram Thrustmaster T2 wheel (please no laughing) Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

Sp3 has no sounds in it( it would be even bigger!). If you get a util called GTVE at speedsims.com probably, with it you'll be able to set sounds in the cars .veh file. Hint...just steal sounds from other cars, you can then change pitch by changing the 'rev'rpm in GTVE. Sudesh "Jso" <[email hidden]> schreef in bericht news:8ubkhj$gqk$[email hidden]...

Or go to http://mo-sbdc.org/slg/scgt.html, and download Dave Henrie's sound folder! He has done all the dirty work for you. SLG "sudesh" <[email hidden]> wrote:
