Hi All, After purchasing a fine set of pedals to use in GPL with a logitech FF USB wheel I am struggling to get it to work. The pedals should be detected in windows as a 3 axis, 2 button joystick, but are coming up as 'not nnected' - SBlive value soundcard, win98 se However in GPL i can calibrate them and use them with the generic driver, but this does not allow the LWFF wheel to work at the same time (steering with keys - yuck ;) so I believe it is not the pedals that are causing the problem. Infact it seems the LWFF will only work with the direct input and the pedals are not recognised by GPL at this stage. I know several people use other pedals with the LWFF so it can definitely be done. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Ian_R
Hi Ian, I had the same problem with my Logitech wheel, SB Live and Win ME. I unplugged my Logitech from the USB-Port and deleted all gameport- drivers (Microsoft and Creative Labs) from system/devicemanager(?) and switch off the PC. Then I put a Joystick to the SB-Live-gameport. After Rebooting Win ME installed the Creative-gameport-driver and the joystick worked in Win ME. Then I plugged in my wheel into the USB-port and both of them worked ok. I wanted to use my old Thrustmaster-pedals with the Logitech-wheel, but they were only recognised by Win ME when they were connected together with the Thrustmaster-wheel or another joystick. And they didn't work in split-axis mode. So I stayed with the Logitech-pedals. good luck Juergen In article <XVmO5.10166$[email hidden]>, "Ian Robertson" <[email hidden]> wrote: > Hi All, > > After purchasing a fine set of pedals to use in GPL with a logitechFF USB > wheel I am struggling to get it to work.
