I know those systems are in limited supply, but I was looking for some feedback on Nascar2001. Thanks.

Hello, The graphics aren't bad, but nothing compared to NASCAR Heat on a decent PC. I hope I don't start a flame war with this... :) Plus, rumble effects just aren't the same as force feedback. Hmmm... sparse track objects and a drop to a lower resolution (than 640x480) when the action heats up (or you, gasp, turn on the mirror). Granted, it holds 60fps at all times, but a PS2 as the only sim platform? No thanks. Stephen Kevin Clark <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

I was jusssst about ready to start stirring up trouble between the Nascar Heat, and N4 camps. I haven't heard ANY info on the EA Nascar 2001 other than the team that is developing it. If they are allowed to make a racing sim of the same quality thier other products were, then we might have another contenduh... the producer is Andy Hollis from the Flight Sim Genre...one of the better ones...Longbow 1 &2, F15 Strike Eagle III are two of his efforts. If the Skunkworks crew in Baltimore have the freedom to make a "realistic" sim and not a DaytonaUSA wannabe, this title could really be something. dave henrie "Scott" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8ud2tf$1fjsq$[email hidden]... > I know those systems are in limited supply, but I was looking for some > feedback on Nascar2001.
