At what difficulty are you playing? Me, I've flipped a car. I've also spun
out of control on several occasions. Once when I was in 1st place on the
final lap. I got into a situation with two cars trying to pass me and I was
too aggressive in a turn that caused me to spin 360 degrees into the grass.
I'm playing the game at the intermediate level. I found that the easy level
was too easy for me. Man this game is smooth and the control is right on.
When I was playing on the easy setting I did not spin of flip. Flipping is
rare but I have flipped and I've seen several CPU cars flip during a race.
I've also seen CPU cars spin out of control.
Take it easy,
Larry

I haven't flipped in Intermediate, but I have spun in easy. What I
haven't been able to do is totally destroy a tire -- you can get it to
where the tires are flashing red, but I haven't had one actually blow
out, so I guess it may be impossible.

Agreed, the music, is pretty bad. I also noticed that all the cars seem to
have their own engine sounds, but are the sounds accurate?? They just don't
seem quite "right" to me. I haven't been to see the actual cars enough though,
to know for sure.
Have you noticed the contrails that come off the rear wings of the cars at high
speed?? Gorgeous!

candy's pretty good, but when I can take the Cirtek team's old Ford
Mustang GT2 and win EVERY race in the season, I question the realism.
The game has more grip than SCGT, which means it has quite a lot. Rarely
did I have to brake anywhere...
Le Mans was pretty good, but down Mulsanne, it began to hang up a
bit...but I thought it was pretty good for an arcadish game...never
tried the garage, so I can't comment on that...
But flying down the Mulsanne Straight in the 1999 Audi R8R was a blast!

Yep, I agree again. I get sweaty palms running with a group of cars on those
straights. This bad boy is going to keep me really busy for some time. Hell,
I still havent even tried a long race yet. Been too busy running the quick
races, and Time Trials, trying to open cars and tracks. Any sim racing fan
with access to a Dreamcast should check this one out!!
What I want to know is - who has tried this for the PC? Is it just as good or
better? Maybe you can actually use your wheel - chances are they made the wheel
useless on the DC because 95% of the people don't own a wheel, so it would only
be logical to have a game(that's what they shoot for on the DC) not so
difficult for the average user to play. PC sims, on the other hand, are made
with the sim addict in mind - I'm thinking it may be better. Or, if some old
Playstation converts have taught me, it may be considerably worse.
