I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but there are some great GPL "movies" (not replays) here : http://legends.sports-gaming.com/movies.shtml Including a Great SRM Prto Action one from Eric Cote (theres 2 actually, both around 25Mb). Also a new one from Ryan Murray which is somewhat smaller at just over 6Mb, this I suspect was generated using the GPL Movie Maker program, the SRM one I suspect was done via video-output and capture. If you have a fast conenction, I can recommend the SRM one(s). I just views the first one. Maxx

John, You can get it here : http://phlegma.figc.net/download.html It's actually called GPL Movie Studio. Be aware however, that GPL must be running in SOFTWARE mode in order to take the IMAGES that Movie Studio uses to make a GPL mpeg file. Essentially how it works is that you take a series of snapshots which GPL Movie then compile into a movie. I've only looked at it briefly myself so can't really give you any tips/advice on how to run it. Maxx

I make movies just fine in GLIDE. I don't know where you read that you had to be in software mode...maybe it doesnt work in D3D or something. JB "Maxx" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

John and all, my SRM movies (4 of them) are done with a DV cam, that's why you can hear the engine in the background mixed with musics. I'm still trying to improve color quality, the rest is ok when it's so compressed compared to the original made by Digital Origin software, for instance a 5 min video with music takes up to 3 Gig of HD space of uncompress MOV format, LOL My first 2 videos are found on my website : http://www.simracingmag.com I have 2 more to do next week for SRM ELITE and PRO :) Eric John Simmons wrote:

Certainly it does not work with D3D. Maxx
