I'm thinking about buying a Dreamcast just for the killer driving sims, such as
Ferrari F355 Challange and Sega Rally 2. Do you know if there is any decent
force feedback wheel available for DC that is compatible with those games
mentioned? I can't imagine playing a driving sim with the stock hand
controller...

I believe ACT Labs has some thingy you can slot into their wheel to make it
compatible with the Dreamcast, but I'm not sure. Go check their website...

Just checked - it seems that it's being worked on...
I would ask in Rec.games.video.sega, you will probably get a better
answer...I think most in this group use pc's..R.G.V.S is great if you sift
through the anti PS2 crap...

I forget if it is the Dreamcast or the PS2, but Logitech is making a
version
of thier FF wheel for one of those consoles..

Has anyone tried the Thrustmaster Ferrari wheel for Dreamcast?
AFAIK no console platforms support true FF. They may offer something
comparable to a "rumble" enabled wheel. You can get a cartridge that lets
you hook up an Act Labs Force RS to a Dreamcast, but you will not get FF.

AFAIK, it doesn't do FF.
Andy (waiting for FF support in the ACT-LABS wheel)

so bad it s not the dreamcast...it is the PS2.
it will be a "real" FF ( I mean like the one of our PCs), and the 1rst game
to feature it will be gran turismo.

Yes, very good wheel for $50. Paddle shifters, analog paddles for brake/gas
as well, analog pedals, 4 buttons and progressive resistance. Precise and
well made. FYI, I own a LWFF and TSW2 for the PC so I know the good stuff
;-).

It's for the PS2 and it will be real FF not the crappy vibration nonsense
that we've seen to date.

Who's making this PS2 wheel? Anyone know when it will be available?
Not that it matters too much until GT3 is released. ;-)

The wheel I'm referring to is for the DC not PS2. It's the Thrustmaster
Ferrari wheel. There should be a PS2 version soon.
