I've just bought RM and patched it to v.3.0 and it works great, but I have a
few questions:
1. Do I need two CD's to do LAN racing (2 PC's)?
2. I've been studying the contents of the CD and it seems to have the
LASERLOCK protection on it. By looking at offset 47 of the file "nomouse.sp"
I found the version of the LASERLOCK to be 3.5.
I managed to make a backup copy of the CD which installs ok and I can play
the orginal game (1.0) successfully, but when I try to install the 3.0 patch
the patch deletes most of the crucial files in the game.
The protection is quite hard to get around, and I hate to have the CD in as
I most of the time play a flightsim which there are no cracks for and I have
to have that CD in ( I/F-A 18E Carrier Strike Fighter).
I have tried a 3.0 crack for RM I found, but the EXE only gets lost in
memory when I try to start it...Has anyone managed to get this game running
without the CD with patch 3.0 installed??
By the way the game is real fun I think
