Hello All, Just looking for a little confirmation (to ease my mind) to see if I ordered the right thing... I've read a few threads on this wheel from JustDeals.com (the Wingman Formula Force-Wheel and Pedal Set-USB & Serial). And from what I've read, I think I just bought a wheel with force feed back and paddle shifters. Is this correct??? Also, I think this is supposed to be a pretty good wheel. Right? Please say yes... It's gotta be way better than my 5 or so year old Thrustmaster T2! And lastly, I haven't read any threads that are bad related to JustDeals. Any feedback there? Thanks in advance folks, Slow Joe (ex SCCA FP(MG) & EP(Alfa) wannabe racer who used to love Mid Ohio!) Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

I recieved my <2nd for spare> LWFF from JustDeals a few weeks ago and it is the <older> unit with shift paddles. For USB you'll have to get a serial to USB patch cord which is not included. It arrived within a week of order via UPS ground...California to Indiana. Hope this eases your mind:) DN Jso <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8uopac$ns4$[email hidden]...

I ordered alot of things from JUSTDEALS.com and had not problem at all. Everything shipped fast and packaged nicely at real cheap prices (ie:33.00 for yellow logitech wheel and 19.99 for a webtv like device w/remote keyboard)) You wont be sorry with the LWFF, I have one also, that replaced a MSFF that was a POS wheel. That MSFF wore out in 6 months. You made the right decision PassedYa Jso wrote:

Just got mine from just deals...BROKEN. This is the second one I've heard about. How ridiculous is this, they are all refurbished, though I saw no indication, but how the hell can you call mine refurbished when it was: 1. Very dirty 2. Cables disconnected (no FF) 3. Missing screws The only reason I kept it is because of Jens Schumi's site. Good luck. Jso <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8uopac$ns4$[email hidden]...

If it is the read one, you have the right one. If it is the yellow one then it has buttons instead of paddles. -- [email hidden] "Jso" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8uopac$ns4$[email hidden]... > Hello All, > > Just looking for a little confirmation (to ease my mind) to see if I > ordered the right thing... > > I've read a few threads on this wheel from JustDeals.com (the Wingman > Formula Force-Wheel and Pedal Set-USB & Serial). I keep pushing my buddy to get a wheel (he hasn't caught the bug like I have!) and I kinda suggested that maybe non-FF was the way to go (based on F1-2000 - bad force effects anyways) My thought was that the spring effect in the yellow version was better than the "non- force" effect on the red one. What do you think, since you have both?

Greg, yellow only indicated the "poor brother" w/o FF. The FF-wheels are all red rim (the new one only partly) JensSchumi On Tue, 14 Nov 2000 07:11:45 -0600, "Greg Cisko" <[email hidden]> wrote: >If it is the read one, you have the right one. If you get the red one with the paddles, you get the better (old) one. If you are kucky, it comes with the USB-adaptor. The yellow one (w/o FF) does have buttons and shifter paddles. I know, i have both Yellow and Red, and they are the same except color of wheel and no ff on the yellow PassedYa Greg Cisko wrote:

IMO, I dont like the Yellow Wheel version as much as the FF version of LWFF. Since its USB(yellow that is ), its a fast digital wheel. But the springs seem to be wheel in the wheel with very little force. Maybe Im just use to the strong spring setting in my FF wheel. I payed 33.00 for the yellow wheel which is a steal. BUt for 15.00 more you can get the FF wheel at JUSTDEALS.com BriGuy wrote:
