I have been racing with my T2 since Nascar Racing 1 and Indycar Racing 2. GPL, GP3, Burnout PCE, and SCGT AoE are my racing sims in current use. I have modified my T2 pedal springs extensively and have a very durable setup there, but I could probably use new pots all the way around. The Nascar Pro Digital paddle-shiftin' USB keystroke programmable wonder at buy.com for like $46!? Anyone have any opinions on this unit? I don't want to get the Nascar Digital and find out the pedal have a much shorter throw or really weak tensions. I'm sure its all plastic not like the big metal frame the T2 pedals are built on. I have screen door type coil springs for a 3-4x heavier pedal tensions than the T2 came with. I probably shouldn't switch, i've modded it and have used it for 4-5 years,it is working, but the steering is getting twitchy. I'd love to hear from anyone who used a T2 extensively and has since used a Nascar Pro Digital! Are the steering unit and pedals permanently connected together or could I possibly rig it to use the Nascar Pro Digital wheel and my T2 pedals? Anyone? :) I've been lurking at this ng since the GPL demo, so I figured it's time to tap into the knowledge base on this one. :) Interested to hear from yall's.. Jason

Remember you can get new pots from guillemot for the T2 for $10. I received mine and as far as I can tell they are identical to the original T2 pots, haven't gotten around to installing them yet. As for paddle shifters, I tried the lwff and hated them. Being forced to keep both hands on that tiny 8" wheel the whole time eliminates any possibility of a relaxed posture. Alot of people are gluttons for punishment tho and like them. rms [email hidden]

You can get pots at www.digikey.com. Take a look at the stock pots series 450, in their catalog. I can't remember how long the shafts are. You'll have to measure them yourself.
