Hi Judge,
GPLEGS is just the name of a package of text files and replays I
did a few weeks back (it actually stands for GPL examples).
The package is an effort of mine to demonstrate "proper"
race car driving techniques to those who have not had the
opportunity to visit a racing school or read any instructional
books or other material.
I was a race driver in real life in the early 90s, Saloons and
Single-Seaters and worked as an instructor for the Jim
Russell school here in the UK for a couple of years.
There is little in it that is not already available elsewhere
but I've tried to elaborate and demonstrate on what is
meant by those stock phrases "smooth=fast" and "you
need to slow down to go fast".
Theres also some GPL specifics and some advice on
using tools like RA (Replay Analyser).
It's available to anyone that wants it. Just send me an
email (mailto:[email hidden]) and I'll send it
you. It's 1.3Mb in size. If you can't receive attachments
or mails of this size, drop me a mail anyway and I can
use an alternative method.
Maxx
LOL :o)
