[OT] A little quiz for the weekend...

5 posts by 3 people · 17 Nov 2000 - 19 Nov 2000

You've got until Monday (UK time). No prizes, except the warm glow of knowing you're amazingly clever... 1) Which current competitor in British hillclimbs has beaten Phil Hill in a Grand Prix at the old Nrburgring? 2) What happened to JJ Lehto's Formula Ford Reynard after he'd finished with it? 3) Johnny Dumfries was worried when he started in FFord that people would get at him if they discovered his noble background. What did he do about it? 4) Who entered Jim Clark for his first motorsport event? And what was it? 5) What was the first F1 GP (excluding Indy) to be won at an average speed of over 120mph? GLA[1], as they say... [1] "Good luck all", for you non-VROCcers. -- David. I crashed it exiting Druids at Brands Hatch :o) Stuffed it in the tyre wall, broke the LF suspension. However I did drive it to 2nd place earlier in the year. http://www.robswindells.com/rob_swindells.gif David Buttery wrote:
