Do you have gigabyte's of GPL replays?

I have. And it is starting to take upp too much diskspace. :( I don't want to delete them. And simply burning them on CD will make it hard to find a specific replay again and if any of those burned replays contain my PB for an addon-track GPLRA's Export Records will not find and report that laptime. To solve this I am making a new tool for GPL Replay Analyser which will scan replay CDs and create a database with information making laptimes appear in GPLRA's Export Records and in LapFinder (thus making it easy to find the replay lap again). Why am I telling you this? Well, I'd like some people who would find the above feature useful to betatest this. It isn't finished yet, but if you'd like to try it out and help betatest it when it is finished, please mail me. Mailaddress can be found at this URL(do not use the address in the usenet-header as I never read those mails): http://www.bigfoot.com/~GPL_Replay_Analyser Cheers, /Martin Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

Nice! A related side-note: Someone ought to hack GPL, so that it would allow multiple replay folders - thus making it possible to load replays directly from a CD for example... Jari Jokinen Martin Granberg wrote in message <8v3h92$in3$[email hidden]>...

Martin, Yeah, a Replay Manager (database) would make a lot of sense. It takes a lot of time to scroll thru all the trax and all the drivers and all the lap times, looking for what you want. My wish list would include the setup you had at the time you drove the lap. (P.S. After 2 years, I've got abt. 725 Mb, thanx to a lot of judicious pruning...but then, I just bought about 30 Gb of HD for a couple hundred bucks, so space isn't much of a consideration.) --Steve Martin Granberg <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8v3h92$in3$[email hidden]...

A program could be written that would a) Copy a replay from any drive connected to your system b) Run GPL c) Automatically load the replay It would be a fairly simple matter. In article <8v41pj$e1m$[email hidden]>, [email hidden] says...
