Here's a quote from the website http://www.midway.com/ : "Midway: C.A.R.T. Fury - Championship Racing It's just you against real-life C.A.R.T. champions bumping and slamming for pole position. Hit jumps, take shortcuts, or blow the turbo boost to pass your opponents. But be careful not to damage your car - nothing will take you out of the race faster than losing a tire at 200 mph. All of this action and the C.A.R.T. license, which means real drivers, real sponsors, and real tracks!" Sounds just like CART doesn't it? shit... -- don New GPL Programs for the Converted Tracks: http://www.ianparker.co.uk/gpl/bapom/ You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted, then used against you.

I have been away from GPL mainly due to me throwing my wheel into the garbage bin. So are there any rumor on a sequel? Made a dare with my brother that I will buy 4 copies of it when it comes out. Can't even imagine how godly a sequel to GPL would be.
Yes, I don't see why they shouldn't do a Cart sim... With the money they will make on N4, even if the new Cart sim sells less then GPL, it won't be a problem... and Cart should give them the rights to do a game instead of selling it, because it would promote Cart, and the sim would be the best Cart sim, because it would be made by the best sim makers... I doubt it. GPL didn't sell very well, presumably because it wasn't an up-to-date F1 game which tend to sell by the bucket load and/or it was too difficult for beginners. I reckon papy will go for an Indy game next after 4 lots of NASCAR.

Don't some other company (the name escapes me) have some sort of exclusive deal to do arcade CART games for the next few years, thus preventing anyone else attempting a serious CART sim? yeah GPL 1 was such a success in the gaming market that I am sure they will make a GPL 2. </sarcastic> JB <user> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > I have been away from GPL mainly due to me throwing my wheel into the > garbage bin. > > So are there any rumor on a sequel? I did a little survey on my web site a few weeks back to find out what people would want in a GPL2. It's in the forums section, address below.
