Any word on NHRA 2. Is it exactly the same game or are there some changes
and improvements.
From some screenshots I saw, it look identical to the original NHRA just
with updated paint jobs and better camera angles.......

It has the Staccato sound engine in it as well. It is suppose to have a
built in paintkit and online play but.. again Motorsims decided to ship
a unfinished game and will attempt to finish it with patches and we know
what happened to AMASB. There are many bugs to be fixed as well, from
graphics problems to major gameplay flaws.
Wait for the patch to come out and find out if it's any good before
buying. I hear it is the same code from the original NHRA so it probably
has the same physics.

A patch was released today, actually. ;)
Find it at:

Um, IMBO (In my biased opinion ;), there were quite a few
changes from NHRA to NHRA2...
As just one example: another file you can download from
the page above is a manual for the RacePakChart program installed
with the game. The 1.7 MB (zipped) manual was written by
Competition Systems, Inc. (The developers of
RacePak Data Systems. http://www.racepak.com )
In other words, the game allows the player to
display their simulation telemetry with the same program
most of the NHRA Top Fuel teams use to view _their_ data.
As far as I know, this is the first time a game player
can review his simulation telemetry using a fully functional
professional tool.
All for an MSRP of $20. ;) Pretty cool, again IMBO.
