When I try to install the patch it gets to 77% complete and then gives
me an error message-old file not found but found a file with the same
name-will not install. It's looking at the filelist.txt.
I have a clean install with nothing changed.

I had the same problem but it was because I had the no cd patch and it won't
patch it without the original .exe.
But you say you have a clean install so guess that wouldn't be the problem.
