Does anybody know where I could buy two small bare joysticks, somewhere
around the size of a typical RC controllers' sticks (or maybe up to twice as
big, like the old Mach 1 joystick). I want to put together my own one-
piece, handheld dual-stick controller for sims. Think of it as a
super-precise Playstation Dual-Shock.

Tear apart one of those "Nintendo 64" controllers
That's about as "Small" as you can get!

I have a 3dfx Hammerhead FX gamepad and it has 2 joysticks similar to the
Dual-Shock...I got it at Staples...Wal-Mart has them too...the precision is
very good in my opinion...I can't detect any "hopping" in the calibration
screen when moving the joysticks slowly. So I would suggest you check it
out.
