Hi all,
a brief note to let you know that at
http://www.it.forix.com/gpl
there is an offline tournament with the good old
GPL.
Main purpose of the tournament is to learn to
drive better, to analyze preformances and discuss
setups, for this instance we hired Ricardo
Nunnini, the setup guru.
Races are run at 75% of the original GP length,
with improved ai performance.
You are all welcomed.

Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level, then beats you
with experience...

Hey, *I* can do consistent laps! It's just that my average time would be 4
seconds slower than HIS...<g> Geez, my PB is only 1:22.93 - slower than his
AVERAGE. Yep, I think I'll pass joining that competion... :)

Well. nothing specifically that I saw, but check out the results
from the 2 races already run, and look at the consistency of
laptimes. In the first race Kyalami, Ricardo Nunnini did 60laps
in 1hr 21min 21.237secs (thats an average of 1:21.35). only
4 laps in the 1:22s (not counting 1st lap) and many in the
1:20s including a Fastest Lap of 1:20.263.
Now thats one hell of a challenge!

F1 career? OK, so it's unlikely, but not impossible given the number of
real-life racing drivers we get in here.

I heartily recommend the whole F1 Rejects site, BTW - great fun.
