Hello, I have been looking into joining a league. I love to race regularly against the same players: kindda gives a soap opera side to the racing, with all the conflicts and friendship (and threats! :-). I am a very bad player: my racing life consists of battling for the 17th or 16th position. I am not dirty, in fact there is nothing I like more than a clean pass after 5 laps of following my victim. The thing I hate the most about non-league play (up to now) is that I can race as hard as I can, even if I succeed in being average, I always finish last. Not because I am the slowest player...but because everyone slower than me QUITS after 5 laps! That's a downer if there is one... So, in summary, I beg you....Who wants to take me in? I'd be nice, I promise..:-) Where do I sign? Michal

Sounds like your in the same tub as me , 1:34 best at monza, 1.11 at the glen , we should have a backmarkers league! It is sometimes satisfying to have qualifyed on the last grid position, then gently weave through the inevitable carnage at T1. But frustrating to see so many people disconnect after the pile-up Michal <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

We've got two leagues for over 40 GPL drivers: MARA, the only league that runs F1 and F2 simultaneously, and FATSO, the first GPL F2 league. http://members.home.net/ecrawford1/mara/maramain.htm http://www.webtechnik.com/fatso/ We probably have room for one more in FATSO, not too sure about this season in MARA. Get on the list for the next! Kevin Caldwell Calgary, Canada "SEM" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8vl216$p23$[email hidden]...

Hey Kevin! We're mostly over 40, but certainly not a backmarkers league! It may look like that to some, but in reality those Mara F2 guys are pretty quick :) --- as are the F1 guys :) Btw, due to circumstances Mara - E will have a F1 spot available the 2nd week of december. We race at wednesday nights 22:30 CET, the race is usually over by 23:45 (but the chat is not ;-) Good attitude is all important, speed and winning only come next. Applications welcome! Oh yes and it's true, the rules say new members must be 40 years of age at least.... Bart Westra Mara E cordinator "Kevin" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:loDT5.19420$[email hidden]...
