FYI, it looks like the retail price on F1CS2000 is going to be $39.95, but you can get it for $19.95 (plus $5.99 shipping) if you drink Pepsi products. If you already do drink Pepsi products (Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Dew, etc.), you may have noticed the yellow caps and the "Pepsi Points" promotion going on with the 20-ounce bottles. Under each cap is a code that you enter in at the Pepsi Stuff Web site (http://www.pepsistuff.com/). Each cap is worth either 100 Pepsi Points (unfortunately, instead of Pepsi Points, you may occasionally find that the cap is an instant $10 off of any purchase at certain shoe or music stores). The best part is that you can get a $20-off e-coupon for EA games for only 1,500 points (that's 15 Pepsis or Dews, if you don't want to do the math yourself). I purchased The Sims for my wife about week ago using the $20 discount, and it arrived in about 3-4 days. Today I noticed that they have F1CS2000 listed, so I went ahead and ordered it using my Pepsi Points for another $20-off e-coupon. You can find the EA Store Pepsi listing here: http://www.eastore.elicense.com/pepsi/ Hope this helps some of you out. $24.95 (the discount price plus shipping) isn't quite bargain-bin level, but it's enough of a bargain/discount for me. Also FWIW, I don't know if Pepsi Points are transferrable, but I currently have 3,200 points still available, and I would be willing to try to work something out with any of you who would like to take advantage of the Pepsi Points discount. I've only got enough points to help two of you out, but drop me a line if you'd like to try to work something out. -- JB ([email hidden]) P.S. In case you're curious, I'm strictly a Diet Dew guy -- all the caffeine with none of the sugar to bring you down! <G>
