Im back with this problem . . . . ;) To make this kinda short, every title runs smokingly fast with this TBird (well, OK, NOT 1gig ,980mhz OC'ed Tbird) GforceDDR,196mb system. Nascar HEAT in 1280x1064 mode gets me a 59.9 bench, other programs fly........ I bought DTRSC in hopes of some killer racing. But no matter what settings (other than NASTY looking 640) the games framerates are jerky, on the border of 20-25fps.... I have tried all sorts of various drivers for the DDR and no improvements. I also, un-installed and re-installed it with NO luck. Still getting 20-25fps........ IS this normal for you guys???? Am I spoiled by the framerates in Motocross Madd2 and HEAT etc.etc. Is the coding in Sprints just not up to par? Thanks for some input..... -- ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Tony Gaylord / WA State, USA - [email hidden] http://www.CART.com http://www.SeventhGear.com http://www.PaulTracy.com (Who's the man!!) DTR:SC is very good on my Athlon 650 and TNT2U. Getting around 55fps in 800x600 and around 40 fps in 1024x768 - it's definitely not a 'slow' game. You might have a DirectX problem or a driver issue.
