I just purchased SCGT and have only 4 tracks included. I bought a version with 2 other EA games included and am wondering if I got the 'light' version or what? Is there a way to download tracks if this is the case? I also cannot get it to recognize my microsoft sidewinder FF wheel. I get steering and gas and brake but cannot get it to shift with the buttons. New profile created for MSFF wheel, but cannot map buttons in the options. Any help? Larry
SCGT was designed as a what i would call half sim/half arcade racer. Theres cheat codes needed to unlock the other cars/tracks in the game or you can compete in Career mode and earn them (but I know you want to drive a GT1 car so why fight it :). Anyway the cheats are as follows: isi-cheeseman: enables cheat mode, you MUST type this first to use the rest of the codes isi-tbone: unlocks all cars/tacks isi-aardvark: gives you money to buy the cars so you can drive them isi-corsica: maxes out car parts (not reccomended since you end up with a rather unrealistic car...but fun to play with) Hope this answers your questions. Two things..first get the official patch from the uspits.. There are two "official" patches...but the pits have added a couple of bonus' to the patch, one is a visual damage hack and the second is a nocd so you don't have to use your cd everytime you boot scgt...provided you did a full install. The patch to use is slightly larger than the original so make sure you get it....either works but the bonus' added in make the 2nd patch better. Then...there are lots of tracks with your game...you just have to unlock them. How? Two ways...win all your races and you get more tracks. Keep doing that in career mode and you'll see all the available tracks. 2nd..CHEAT! CHEAT! start in career mode. on any career screen type the following: isi-cheesman this enables the cheat mode and you should see a box on the upper left confirming that. Next type isi-tbone this unlocks all the extra tracks and cars you can now go to the purchase car screen and buy any of the original cars that come with scgt.(if you have enought cash) the last cheat code is: isi-aardvark this gives you buckets of cash to buy or modify any vehicle you choose. Check out speedsims.com and theuspits.com for two good scgt sections. plenty of others out there as well, and tons of new cars and several new tracks.. SCGT is like a candy store, there is always something new and different. dave henrie "Larry Hawes" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

in your MSFF software, map the shift buttons to two letters on the keyboard. In the game config, you have to press a keyboard input before a joystick input. So just click the buttons and Voila! you have shift buttons that work. You can mix keybaord and joystick input for the game. ~daxe
