Hai!
Are there any Racing _Sims_ out for the Mac?
I could not find one, but IIRC ICR2 was also done for the Mac.
So, I'm planning to install Connectix' VirtualGameStation on a
G3-Powerbook(500MHz; 512MB RAM).
Did someone go through this before and is it worth a try?
As a starter Gran Turismo would be nice I guess. How does it perform on
the system described above?
Next question of the uninformed: How do the PS-Versions compare to the
PC-versions?
I once got my hands on 24hLeMans for the PS... It's ******^W^W It's
definitely not a sim.
(Plans go for 1 Rallye-sim, 1 TouringCar/WSC-sim, 1 Oval-Track-sim
(NAscar or will there ever be a contemporary C.A.R.T.-sim *sigh*).
I hope, I do not have to dig out 'The Cycles' *g*.
TIA

Yes, ICR2 and NASCAR 1 were ported to mac. Could be hard to get
nowadays. I played both like crazy a few years ago.
No, there aren't any real modern racing sims for mac, what a shame. No
GPL, Viper Racing, Nascar Heat, Nascar 4. Nothing. All they do is first
person shooters again and again ...
Apart from 4x4 and Carmageddon I/II there isn't even a serious arcade
racing game. It is said that NFS: Porsche will be ported soon.
