I know the first two demos didn't, and even the full version first release doesn't (but the 1.08 patch does). What about the newly released multi-language demo, does it support split axis pedals? Thanks, Andy Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

What about the newly >released multi-language demo, does it support split axis pedals? Nope. At least when I tried to calibrate with split axis it wouldn't recognize each axis seperately.

I sure hope so...I am so sick of supposed "sims" that can't even get that basic factor correct. I also find it highly unlikely that a sim has a sophisticated enough physics engine to account for simultaneous throttle and braking (a requirement to be a simulation, by year 2000 standards), but the programmers forgot to program the controller settings to accommodate it. I was just about to install the MBTR demo, but like I should have done before buying Rally Masters, I'll wait for a positive reply to your message from someone in the know. The full international release version, which I picked up yesterday, supports split axis pedals for a single controller. Cheers Phil -- F1 GPL Handicap: +2.79 secs F2 GPL Handicap: +117.19 secs

No, afraid not, the new demo doesn't work with split axis pedals. Excellent game though, about time it was released in the UK. <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:907v86$sut$[email hidden]... > I know the first two demos didn't, and even the full version first > release doesn't (but the 1.08 patch does). It was released this week in the UK. I bought it on Thursday from my local EB for 24.99. And the full version supports split axis pedals with my Force RS. Cheers Phil -- F1 GPL Handicap: +2.79 secs F2 GPL Handicap: +117.19 secs
