I tried N4 multiplayer yesterday, and it was quite different from the regular VROC racing. Never done any NASCAR multiplayer before. Pretty exciting when someone in front spins and all you see is a lot of smoke. Question: During qualifying I got disconnected for some unknown reason. But right before that i noticed that the time-counter said 2:30 and that the track was clear. Is everybody doing qualifying at the same time with a individual clear track or ? I hope not that is the only way of qualifying, because even it would take some time, it would be great to have a option in league races where everyone watches everyone qualify one at the time. -- Olav K. Everyone does qualify at he same time, on their own virtual track While you are qualifying on your track, everyone else is also qualifying on a track of their own. When you finish your qual run you will also see times being posted as others finish their qual runs. You can also still chat with everyone else during qual but some find that very rude during the actual runs since it can distract people. Once quals are over you usually go to a warmup period (everyone is back on the same track) and then the race. "Olav K. Malmin" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Thanks Ed. It wasn't a problem, more a question with a little wish at the end :)

Olav, Since Nascar rules only permit one or two flying laps for qualifying... Papyrus have always used this fromat for it. Each driver qualify on "their own computer" without the ability to see other drivers. This cut down the qualifying time by a mile and then some. I really cannot see any other *sensible* solution to this "probelem.. Ed_ "Olav K. Malmin" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

While I haven't found an N4 online game yet (where ARE they?) I can tell you from a LOT of N3 online that yes, everyone qualifies at the same time. You have to remember, there are up to 43 cars to qualify in a real race, that would take a looong time to accomplish if done one at a time.
