(I posted this message also at the HighGear forrum) Hi all, Has any one found a savegame option in F1cs2000? I havent seen any complains about it (in reviews and other places) not being there so it must be in there somewhere..... If it's not, and I cant find it, this is really a big bug! Cant beleave they didnt put this option in the game. I mean, I understand that they regard saving a game in the middle of the race as cheating or something like that. A lot of people save a race every 5 laps and if they crash, they just load the saved game. So to not have the savegame option during a race, hey, i can live with that... But not being able to save a game during a grandprix weekend between sessions (training, qualify, warmup) .... Thats really bad. A simultated GP, including training, qualifying, warmup and race take more than 5 hours!!! What where they thinking. BTW I havent tried a championship season yet, I hope there's a savegame option in there!! Please help, and show that I am wrong! Where's the save game option??? I really dont know what to think about this sim. There are some great things in it - the graphics - the tracks - the physics - the driving school (BTW is it possible to use the mclaren 2 seater? I get the arrows all the time... and also... how do you finish the hotlap lessons? I have driven 5 hotlaps at Monza in 1.29s and than the fuel runs out... the lessons is than "failed" I have tried to pit, but this is not available in the lessons). But there are some things I hate/miss: - no save games - no telemetry (how can you setup a car without telemetry, I think real F1 racing wouldnt be possibel without telemetry) - no dynamic weather - bad AI (dont get me wrong, they are much better than in F12000, but not as good as GP3's AI. The AI in F1cs2000 doesnt try to block you when you try to pass them, also outbraking is far to easy (at 100% level), they seem to stop to soon and accelarate to fast. There also some other AI-issues, they seem to have difficulties at some corners. (not as bad as in F12000 where they just spun off the track at Magny-Cours, Nurburing and other tracks) In numerous occasions they had problems at eau-rouge (they were much to slow there) and they tend to hit the wall at la source. - no post-race reports. I really like GP3's lapchart and the ability to see your fastest laptime at the end of a race - bad framerates. I can run GP3 with all details on with PO < 100 all the time. To get similiar fps (25.6) in F1cs2000 I have to disable a lot of options (sky, ffb, shadows, moving wheel, texture detail etc) So.... it would be great to have GP3 with F1cs2000 physics, tracks and graphics.... Oh well, there's allways GP4, F12001, and the Ubi-sim... Cheers, JeDa
