I'm telling you people, and I'm not lying. This is the sim of the YEAR. Above NFS:PU, above NH, above everything that has been released. It is addictive, even for people who do not like such type of racing. I wasn't really a fan of the series either (never really had coverage where I live), but geeze I wish I could race one of them in real-life now! Realistic AND fun to drive. > I can achieve almost a Zen-like state driving this thing.. :) Exactly. The way the weekends are distributed for racing enhances such thing. When you get in your "zone", the sensation is incredible. Now if I could only fix the annoying clicks when racing inside the cockpit.

Everybody GET IT!!! GET IT NOW!!! We need to support them, for such marvellous software. -- -- Franois Mnard <ymenard> -- May the Downforce be with you... -- http://www.WeRace.net -- People think it must be fun to be a super genius, but they don't realise how hard it is to put up with all the idiots in the world.

I just have to say guys, you are absolutetly correct. MBTR was a good demo, and I couldn't wait for the full version, and now in English and all trucks, and tracks.. phenominal. The only word for it. Everything about it.. Even the multiplayer (Cable to DSL with 400ping @ 30packets per second) was pretty good. Sure, not GPL or N4 with the amount of cars (oops..:) Trucks.. but smooth and so much fun. This is a gem, make sure you at least get the demo to see what it's all about. Since I work in truck racing (I am in the team of the red esso one) I am very happy that you like the game. I wish everybody in this NG could come to a truck race just once to see it all, it is about the only professional motorsport where the drivers are not "stars" and the paddock is COMPLETELY opened to EVERYBODY, to give you an example EVERYBODY can come and look IN the truck to check the "mysterious" knobs and switches, chat with the driver, the mechanics or the computer guy (that's me), also, to be known for insiders, normallly we have a "press test" on the thursday before the race or on the friday....well how would you like to take a ride in the truck for a couple of laps ? How would you like to sit in a 1400 hp machine that brakes at 80 meters from the corner ? I think I can see you eyes lighting a little bit, maybe truck racing doesn't seem so uninteresting after all.... Anyway, if anybody wants to come during the season I'll be glad to organize what I can. You must have a special version, everyone on the german MBTR board is complaining about stuttering in multiplay. Even the developers admitted that their network code needs work. Luckily, it's on top of their list. Jan PS: sorry for deleting your quotes ... :)

I had the German demo, and figured it would be worth a shot when it came out. I'll probably buy it. Is it in stores, or just online? I haven't seen it yet(Best Buy, anyway). If you have SpeedVision here in the USA you can see limited coverage of these Big-Rig's racing on Motorsports Mundial on Friday nights at 7:30pm EST, 6:30pm CST... Although I belive there season is over for this year, but they covered it fairly well in 2000. Jay J PS: Where can I find the demo for it???
