I have found that on several occasions after recalibrating in Windows, F1 2000 would "drop" my controller settings and I'd have to start all over again (RE-calibrate in Windows, then use the weird brake/throttle method I described in the game to re-assign the controls again). I don't think this is ISI's problem, but, rather, an issue with the TSW throttle/brake potentiometers. Then again, it may have something to do with the ranges that are allowable within ISI's game parameters. Basically, anytime you can't get an ISI game to recognize the TSW controls, IMMEDIATELY exit, recalibrate, re-enter the game, and then immediately go in to reassing the controls using the method I described earlier. I've only seen this problem occur infrequently, so once you get all the controls assigned correctly, it pretty much should stick without you having to re-do it all the time. -- JB In article <fJvW5.390199$[email hidden]>, "Richard \"ZZ\" Busch" <[email hidden]> wrote: > I'm still having trouble getting my TSW to work. I'm still having trouble getting my TSW to work. It worked after I followed JB's suggestions, but now today, nada. I've redone JB's ideas, but no joy :(. I've tried for 20 minutes, WTF? I like the game yesterday, but now it may be going back. Should I reinstall? ZZ

Well, JB, I've done all that. As soon as I saw it wasn't working anymore, I exited and recalibrated went back, did the funny method and brake wasn't recognized. It works in single axis, I just like to drive split axis. Kind of a pain to switch controllers in control panel. BTW, where is that utility to do that? Could someone post the link or mail it to me? I also tried the trick of pumping the pedals that worked with SCGT. I like this game a lot. The tracks are modeled quite well and I'm having a ball driving. It's more fun to drive then GP3 thats for sure. GP3 might be leaving my HD. When I ran F12K, I had to *hold* down the brake pedal for it to be recognized in the config screen. IIRC, I would press the pedal right before I ran the program, and hold it down until the config screen. To get it to work on the track, I have to press the pedal before I select ANY racing(practice, qual, race) and hold it until the car actually got on the track... It's a pain in the ass, but it works...
