Its definitely not Berger's crash. If you ask me, it looks like it isn't
original film. YOu only see a very quick flash of the burning car, but it
just doesn't look real.

It ain't a bad tune either I suppose (even if part of it is ripped off from
'I will survive').
Anyways, its causing a bit of controversry in some newsgroups
(rec.autos.sport.f1), because it shows a scene where there is a wrecked car
in flames.
I think its a Ferrari, but I'm trying to think who it is (doesn't look like
the Lauda incident).
Basically, whats got some people up in arms is that they feel that Robbie
Williams is 'cashing in' on a fatal accident.
Does anyone know if the accident shown in the video was fatal, cos if it was
then I have to agree it is a bit sick.
However, I reckon the footage is of a non-fatal accident.

Not sure myself about the accident... I'd need to see it again to be sure of
anything.

You know, I must take a visit to RASF1 again soon, see what b*****s they're
spouting of nowadays... never failed to make me larf :-)
If the fire scene is view from approximentally 3/4 perspective, with the
camera off to the right of the car, then perhaps it could be Gerhard
Berger's
fire.....(do only Ferraris catch fire?)

Its a 70's type car (early 70's, pre 75 at that by the looks of it).
Did Reutteman (god, how do you spell that) have a big crash in a Ferrari?

Hey Matt!
Lol! Just revisited RASF1 yesterday, took a whole lot of scrolling to find
some decent F1 topics... shame. It was fun 'til it was over-tun by trolls.
How's Doc these days anyway? And his lackeys Paul and Geoff, I always though
they were sweeties :-)

It's not a real crash - they made it up. You can see the 'making of' video on
his web site.
cheers,
Steve.
