Guess I'm a little late with this one, but anyway. :) For some reason, everytime I start the game it asks me to calibrate the joystick. I suppose it's because of the spiking that the rather cheap stick in question produces, and being a DOS game, dialing in some deadzone in CTFJ doesn't help. Is there a way to force IC2 to just use the last good settings and forget about calibration? Thanks, Jan
There are two files...called(I think!!!) controls.cfg and vals.cfg. These control the values the stick returns and what functions you want to assign to each button, axis, etc. try getting everything just right then exiting. go to windows and examine the files in windows explorer. right clik on each file and choose properties. then near the bottom will be a box that should say 'read only' check that. See if that works...Only a guess. dave henrie "Jan Loebzien" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
