I currently have a PII 300 which sucks big time, and i figured that
upgrading is hopeless and a waste of money, so i might as well start with a
new system.
I found an offer for an AMD Athlon 1000 MHZ with a Gigabyte Chipster K133
motherboard, 128 MB sincrone RAM, 20GB EIDE HD, a 52X CD-ROM, a AGP 8MB
video card which i will change, a PCI 128 sound card and a 56K modem plus
keyboard mouse and Windows Me. Is 1000 dollars a good price for it? Any
advice is appreciated.

Pricing the parts it comes to about 800.00 without labor.
