Hi As a newcomer to GPL and so far only using the standard tracks, could someone tell where to download an oval track for GPL to tryout. Thanks Lee -- Lee Ward E-mail: [email hidden]

Lee, go to The Pits: http://www.theuspits.com/owheel/gpl/index.html and go to the section called Dave's World and get his Oval2GPL converter. The following is from the included Readme file: "This WIN95 program will convert tracks from N2 and N3 to GPL. The converted tracks are intended for online racing. Racing against AI competitors is not implemented. The eight tracks included are Atlanta, Bristol, Charlotte (night), Darlington Michigan, Pikes Peak, Taladega and Texas. You can only convert the N3 version of Atlanta & Taladega NOT earlier versions. You can convert either N2/N1999 or N3 versions of all other tracks. Whichever version you choose to convert you will be racing at the same track in an online race, all that will be different is the graphic display. It does not matter at all whether the host or clients are using N3 or N2 conversions." There are now ai files available which will allow you to race offline against the ai cars.I don't remember where the download site is, but their email address is: [email hidden] -- don New GPL Programs for the Converted Tracks: http://www.ianparker.co.uk/gpl/bapom/

Oval2GPL can convert Texas from the NASCAR Racing 3 demo at <http://www.papy.com/downloads/n3demo.exe>. >There are now ai files available which will allow you to race offline >against the ai cars.I don't remember where the download site is, but their >email address is: [email hidden] <http://www.simcyberworld.com/users/gpl/gpl.shtml> -- Jon Willeke <[email hidden]>
