It looks like half of the people have it, the rest of us might as well too. Thanks, -- Kevin Caldwell Calgary, Canada

Exactly the attitude that is killing online gaming! Mitch "Kevin" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:OcuY5.14115$[email hidden]... > It looks like half of the people have it, the rest of us might as welltoo.

I am not condoning it's use online by any means...but now that the cat is out of the bag, there's not much use flaming people for giving it a try. http://website.lineone.net/~richardn/ -- don New GPL Programs for the Converted Tracks: http://www.ianparker.co.uk/gpl/bapom/
Thanks Don. I belong two very civilized on-line GPL Leagues, and I would never consider using the engine tweaker in them. Still, now that it is out there, it is kind of fun to play with - blasting by Loti with the Brab on the straights is something I've often dreamed of while driving the green toad! Thanks, Don. Now, to make my OFF-LINE racing more historically accurate, does anyone know of a way to include the effect of the weight changes as well? I wouldn't mind it for offline racing. Everyone seems to think that anyone downloading this editor will automatically use it for cheating. THe fact is, though, cheaters tend to want a shortcut to success, they can't be bothered to put the time in to win properly. THere is no quick shortcut in GPL. You have to be dedicated to it in order to learn how to drive the cars. Most of us who have put in these hours, probably are unlikley to cheat on line. THink about it, its not straightline speed that wins the races, but consistency and and car control. A more powerful engine will make the cars harder to drive for a lazy cheat, more power, more likely to screw up. Anyway, where can I get it, I promise I won't use it online!!!
