Anyone figured out how to select reverse when using automatic gear ???? In most other games its either hitting the brakes, or the manual gear down select will do the trick. I am using a LWFF in 3 axis mode. Yes , I know you are ment to go forward, but in case one ends up in the trees it can be nice to be able to select reverse ,-) Joergen
Reverse works for me. -- http://home.triad.rr.com/snake88/ "J Skantse" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:90uj96$nde$[email hidden]... > > Anyone figured out how to select reverse when using automatic gear ???? > > In most other games its either hitting the brakes, or the manual gear down > select will do the trick. > I am using a LWFF in 3 axis mode. > > > Yes , I know you are ment to go forward, but in case one ends up in the > trees it can be nice to be able to select reverse ,-) > > > > > > Joergen > > > >

The outher 'deadzone' was too small for the brake axis ? Realized the brakes was hanging slightly when watching the replay. Strange that it had this effect though ? Tried the same in RC2000 and there it makes the car reverse as soon as you start. Joergen
Anyone else enjoying CMR2 as much as me? I think it's superb. Graphics and playability crown it the king of rally games in my book. "J Skantse" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:90umq4$9nq$[email hidden]...

yeah, holding the brake pedal down (in automatic tranny mode) puts me in reverse here, but why on earth would you use an automatic? (just joking) "Snake88" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:HEAY5.12304$[email hidden]...

Just trying the challenge for the moment, keep getting beat in second round, damn ;-) The new arcade mode is lots of fun too, not the most realistic but lots of fun. Wonder how many tracks there is for the arcade mode ? Just hate it when parts of the game is hidden, until you have earned it. I want it all and I want it now ! ;-) Thought I read somewhere there should be a 500BHP Peugeot 205 somewhere in there ? Give me those cheat codes now !! If I have to complain about something (and why not ;-) then it must be the menu/user-interface. Imagine you have just run a single timetrial and want to do it again but with another car, to see if it run better... Then you have to go back to main menu and select : - Rally - Time Trial - One Player - Player name - Select car - automatic/manual - site/country - Stage - race I could dream of mouse support and a big window with all the options to click on. Then it would be like back to the main menu: - pick another car - click race Joergen
