Hi,
I've been experiencing GPL with an Act-Labs Force RS wheels for a few
weeks now. I love the wheel and the strong FFB.
There is one thing that bothering me... Evrytime I start GPL, I have to
go in the options to calibrate the wheel? Is this normal? Or should GPL
keeps the calibration values between each start-ups?
BTW, I'm using Win95 and the wheel is connected through the serial port.
I haven't play any other games with the wheel yet. Should I expect the same
problem with all the games?
TIA
Frank

I have a logitech ff wheel and also have to recal everytime I play,
otherwise my brake pedal travel is halved and if I brake the tires lock up
quicker. The problem went away after a fresh install of windows and
everything but then it came back without touching anything so I guess it's
here to stay unless someone has a reason for it. I've made the file that
keeps calibration data read only but it still does it!

and F3 and when this sometimes happens I just exit and copy the files.

Now what did you have to say? Why exit and copy files when you can just go
into the options and calibrate the wheel again, then you don't have to exit
at all.

spouting off. DAMN there goes my internet reputation . . .
For me it is easier to exit and copy the file as I am rather picky
about my brake pedal and if it feels the slightest bit different, I
have trouble driving just right. To each their own.
