I've got CMR2 installed on my AMD 1Ghz system and it is running fine, except Force Feedback (Thrustmaster FF wheel). The read me file says: "Please note:- If you are using a Force Feedback control device you will need to turn on Quick force updates in the force settings before the Force Feedback will work." I would be very glad if one of you can tell me how to do that. Thanks, Sjaak Alleman
Just go thru the options step by step when choosing a controller. The "enable quickforces" switch is there..... /Thomas "Sjaak Alleman" <[email hidden]> skrev i meddelandet news:91810q$i22$[email hidden]... > I've got CMR2 installed on my AMD 1Ghz system and it is running fine, except

That one should not be too hard Sjaak. It's an option somewhere in the calibration menu, it's quite obvious actually :) Andre >Thanks, > >Sjaak Alleman > >
Thanks for the very quick reactions, but I can't find the option in the game, and in the properties screen for the Thrustmaster there is a remark "calibration not necessary, the device will automatically calibrate itself... So, although it has to be easy, I can't find it Sjaak "Sjaak Alleman" <[email hidden]> schreef in bericht news:91810q$i22$[email hidden]... > I've got CMR2 installed on my AMD 1Ghz system and it is running fine, except

well, there is no calibration menu in my CMR2, and the properties sheet for the FFwheel says that calibration is not necessary. I can't find the option! As far as I know, this screen comes up after you select that you want to use force feedback in cmr 2.0. The problem is, with the Thrustmaster wheel or Guillemot wheel, the force feedback option is greyed out so you can't select force feedback. I guess your question actually is, how do I get CMR 2.0 to detect that I have a force feedback wheel? I can't get it to work either, I am running win2000, directX 8.0 and guillemot ferrari force feedback wheel on usb ( And I can't change to serial because thrustmasters win2000 drivers only suppport usb ). Scenario: I turn on my wheel and I feel that the forces are there, then I start up cmr 2.0 and the forces disappears. When I, inside the game, restart the wheel everything gets fucked up. The forces are there, but cmr thinks I am braking, not able to do anything. In the discussion forums on simracingnews.com I have seen a lot having the same problem. -- -Ole-Martin-Mrk- Today is yesterday tomorrow
