I need some help fellas.
I have a 1gz athlon with a ge force 64mg ultra 2 and my O/S in windows me
When I try to run the game all I get is a locked up screen?
I have tried all the detenator drivers .
I am running 256mgs of pc133 ram
Any help would be great thx in advance.

run what game ? does anything else run? The main problem with that rig is
power. Is it a new rig and do you have a 300 w power supply ?

as far as the power supply i think its 185 watt.
It runs all mt other games great!
Heck I even got 100fps in f1 2000
with the AA off though LOL
could it be a driver issue or perhaps a mother board ?
Its my first AMD chip so I dont know much about them

I have installed the patches for the update and 3d3
it worked a little on my win 98 machine with intell p3 550
but on the new machine with the athlon 1 gig its a no go LOL
Maybe some new drivers for the vid card?
I have tried most of em for the ge force cards.
aybe the core ini file ?

i have a new vision tek gts 32DDR
and just upgraded this wknd to a amd 1gig and 300ps
tried 4x agp mode and also 2x not sure how to go to 1x
i cannot run anything in d3d only open gl
why ???

So know im using my pentium 3 550 with the ge force card.
And MAN OH MAN !!!
Im getting a full 36 fps at 2048x1536 with everything turned on.
In AI races with 10 cars the fram rate drops only to
27fps on the starting grid.
i am very happy with the card well worth the 500 bucks LOL.
But I can only run the agp appeture in 1x sometimes 2x with this motherboard
chip combo.
It seems that It likes the intell chipset better than the via chipset that
came with the new computer ( athlon 1gz)
The graphics are way kick butt now and lap times will surly go down with the
abillity to see far in the distance.
On the athlon machine i am able to run 4x agp.
But sadly not in GPL.
Tried it in F1-2000 and was getting 90fps with AA set all the way full
Looked cool.
But given a choice between good graphics in fi -2000 and the same in GPL I
will pick gpl all day long.
