i use GPL rank for my F2 and F3 times after going there to see if there
was anything on the site about the new engine change utility i found a
poll on should gpl ranks site close down til the engine chang utility is
sorted out. well i got to thinking about what could be done. seeing we
all have to create separate accounts for each driver profile if you feel
the need to post your ranks after using the engine change utility how
about using the extension MOD for your modified F1 times, F1-F2 for your
F2 times done while using an F1 car with the F2 engine and F1-F3 for the
F3 engine in an F1 car. sure some my not want to post that way but what
the hell. if you do use it at least there will be a way to identify for
the honest people out there if you are using the engine change utility
or not. its an idea and maybe with all the people out here reading this
maybe some good can come out of this and all the hard work the people
that created GPL rank wont have to do as the f1 record site did and
close down due to the engine change utility

We ask that people DO NOT send any swapped engine times to GPLRank. This issue
is far from sorted out. It does sound from what Ron Ayton was saying that the
swappah could be a good thing for the F2/F3 crowd, but even that needs to
settle out. GPLRank is based on a benchmark using the classic cars, and all of
the times done in the 2,600 odd current accounts have been done using those
cars. To start adding swapped engine times to the current database would muddy
things up badly, please don't do it. We all need some time for this to settle
down.
