In response to the recent release of the GPL Engine Manager (aka the
Engine Swapper), several concerned people have initiated a project to
modify VROC to address the possibility of "cheating".
Exact details of the modifications are not yet firm, nor is a release
date, although we do know it won't be until after Christmas.
This is just to let you know that we are working on a solution. Please
be patient!
Alison

Excellent news - thanks to you and all involved. My iniital pessimism
about how this thing[1] would affect us has been greatly decreased by
developments since. I'm glad to see that "The GPL Community" seems to be
at least as strong as ever.
[1] I point-blank refuse to use the word "swappah". It looks like - well,
bluntly, it looks like a bad American attempt to speak British... :-) --
